La Vénus électrique (2026)
Since his wife Irène died—a loss he holds himself responsible for—artist Antoine has been drained of inspiration and consumed by drink. Suzanne, a broke carnival act who poses as a medium, is consulted by Antoine in hopes of reaching Irène. Armand, Antoine’s dealer, fears Antoine’s collapse and pushes Suzanne to maintain the deception. In return for Armand settling her debts, she fabricates a string of hypnotic sittings, insisting she can speak as Irène.
