Day After Day (1998)
Though tied by blood to Haifa’s Jewish and Arab communities alike, Moshe drifts through life without real roots. He’s tired of his short-tempered wife Didi and uncertain about his clingy young lover Grisha; the only bonds he keeps uncomplicated are with his loving parents—Jewish Hanna and Arab Yussuf—and with Jules, his good-for-nothing childhood pal. Then Jules’s brother, a real estate developer, sets out to purchase a treasured plot of land from the Arab branch of the family, and Moshe’s split heritage is finally forced into the open.
