Kira and Cagalli head into a nearby ZAFT-held city with Natarle and the Desert Dawn to stock up on supplies. During the trip, the two teens are caught in a Blue Cosmos assault. Kira rescues a man who turns out to be Andrew Waltfeld, and the group is invited back to the ZAFT base. Once there, Andrew reveals he's aware that Kira pilots the Strike and is a Coordinator—yet he still allows them to depart unharmed.
